Coordinating trade and national consumer budget spend, distributing digital coupons, via click to card loyalty programs and retail media networks are becoming increasingly more effective in reaching and impacting shoppers. Retailer loyalty programs offerings are different, so “mileage may vary” Join us as we bring leading retailers to the stage to showcase the programs they offer and discuss the opportunities for retailers and manufacturers to partner to win over shoppers.

In our increasingly data-driven world, personalized experiences are crucial for effective customer engagement. Join us to discover how artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing the creation of tailored and meaningful interactions with consumers. This session by Inmar will answer three key questions the audience likely has about AI:

What is AI? What are the various types of AI and what do they do?

How is AI impacting the Coupons, Promotions and Incentives marketplace today, for retailers, brands, marketers and consumers?

What does the future look like for AI? What innovations and future applications are in development to take AI to the next level?

We will delve into various use cases where CPGs leverage AI to enhance their marketing practices, providing practical approaches to harness these technologies for valuable customer experiences.

This will help the audience learn how predictive analytics, machine learning algorithms, and natural language processing can transform marketing strategies, optimize campaigns, and drive brand loyalty. We will discuss how AI is used for campaigns, targeting, and content creation, as well as how personalization with AI drives innovation throughout these strategies. This session will allow attendees to discover how brands can strike a balance between leveraging AI capabilities and preserving genuine human connections to gain actionable insights on navigating the evolving landscape.

Resellers are wiping out inventory levels, overindulging in promos with misuse & abuse,  and often have multiple T & C violations.  This session will take a deep dive into the damage being done by these type of customers.  How can we all be aware and smarter when setting up cross promotional offers?  What ways can we minimize fraud and still drive sales?   How are resellers affecting normal customers shopping retail stores?  This session will walk through a real life example of a customer who has been actively profiting off of weak controls and overlapping promos for years.  It will show how customers such as this are profiting by getting large volume of merchandise for free and then reselling, doubling their profits, while retailers are left with the aftermath.

There’s no denying digital coupons are growing in popularity and gaining consumer acceptance. But not with everyone. And it’s the naysayers you have to watch out for.
As retailers and the coupon industry change and embrace technology, it’s tempting to brush off couponers who are opposed to the accelerating pace of progress – they’re out of touch, and out of step with the times.
But they’re becoming more vocal. And they have powerful allies. Legislators across the country are showing an increasing interest in regulating digital coupons to make them more equitable for everyone. As the industry works to make its voice heard in the debate, why did this become a debate to begin with? What are the consumer concerns that are not being addressed? And what can the industry do to encourage greater consumer acceptance of digital formats before it’s too late?

Digital incentives are not fraud-proof and technology-centric loss prevention efforts have vulnerabilities. Criminals are adapting to new security features and technologies. Complacency will have a heavy price for those who assume that fraud will go away in the digital world.

50 years ago the first barcode scan took place with a pack of gum. Since then, barcodes have evolved to become a critical component for the entire consumer goods industry. This evolution is continuing with two-dimensional (2D) barcodes that allow for larger amounts of data to be captured in a single scan. Join GS1 US to learn how 2D barcodes can benefit manufacturers to consumers and everyone in between. Gain insights on the impact this evolution will have on the industry and how you can prepare for this new dimension in barcodes.
